This Privacy Policy explains how the application (the “App”) handles your information. The App is designed to be private by default: your notes and content are stored locally on your device, no account is required, and the App itself does not upload your personal content to any server. Please read this policy carefully to understand our practices.

1. What data we collect

The App stores all of your notes, checklists, photos, drawings, voice recordings, mood entries, reminders and app preferences locally on your device. No account or sign-up is required to use the App.

The App itself does not collect, transmit, or upload your personal content to any server operated by us. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not build advertising or marketing profiles from the content you create.

The App may process the following categories of data entirely on your device so that its features can function:

Text you type into notes, checklists and reminders.
Photos you attach to a note (stored in the App’s private storage).
Voice recordings you create for voice notes.
Optional mood entries and related streak information.
Reminder dates, times and repeat rules you set.
App settings such as your chosen theme and language.

Certain third-party services integrated into the App may collect limited technical information as described in the sections below.

2. Advertising

The App may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service. To serve and measure ads, Google and its partners may collect and process information such as your device identifiers, advertising ID, IP address, general location, and interaction data.

You can control or limit ad personalization in your device settings:

On Android: open your device Settings, then Google, then Ads, and adjust or reset your advertising ID.
On iOS: open Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Tracking, and manage app tracking permissions.

Advertisements are shown only in limited areas of the App. No ads are displayed while you are typing, editing, or viewing your settings. A one-time in-app purchase to remove ads may be available, in which case no advertising services are loaded once ads are removed.

3. Permissions we request

The App requests device permissions only when a feature that needs them is used. Each permission is optional, and denying it simply disables the related feature — the rest of the App continues to work.

Camera — only when you choose to take a photo for a photo note.
Photos / Media — only when you choose to attach an existing image from your gallery, or when you save an exported image.
Microphone — only when you record a voice note or use voice-to-text dictation.
Speech recognition — only when you use voice-to-text dictation. On some devices this may be processed by your operating system’s speech service.
Notifications — only when you set a reminder, so the App can alert you at the scheduled time.

4. Local data, backup and deletion

All notes, photos and media are stored in the App’s private storage area on your device and are not accessible to other apps.

Backups you create

If you choose to export a local backup, the resulting file contains your full App data — including notes, checklists, photos, voice recordings, reminders, mood entries and any locked or sealed content. This backup file is created on your device and is only shared or stored where you choose to place it. Keep backup files somewhere private and delete copies you no longer need.

Deleting your data

You are in full control of your data at all times. You can:

Delete individual notes or attachments at any time within the App.
Clear all local data from the App’s settings (this permanently removes your notes, photos, media and preferences).
Uninstall the App, which also removes all locally stored data associated with it.

Because your content is stored locally and not on our servers, deleting it on your device removes it from the App entirely.

5. Data security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Your content is confined to the App’s private storage and is not exposed to other applications. However, no method of electronic storage is completely secure. The security of any backup files you export and share is your responsibility, so please store them in a safe location.

6. Third-party services

The App relies on a small number of third-party services to provide certain features. These services may process limited technical data under their own privacy policies:

Google AdMob — for displaying advertisements (see Section 2).
Google Play Services — for standard platform functionality on Android devices.
Platform in-app purchase services — if you make an optional purchase, it is processed by the app store (Google Play or the Apple App Store). We do not receive or store your payment card details.
Operating system speech services — used for optional voice-to-text dictation on supported devices.

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of your device platform and app store for details on how they handle data.

7. No professional advice

The App is a general-purpose note-taking and personal organization tool. Any content you store — including mood entries, reminders or notes — does not constitute medical, psychological, legal, financial, or any other form of professional advice. Always consult a qualified professional for such matters.

8. Children

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please refer to the deletion options in Section 4 to remove it.

9. International users

Because the App stores your content locally on your device, your notes and media generally remain on your device and are not transferred internationally by us. Third-party services such as advertising providers may process limited technical data in accordance with their own policies and applicable data protection laws, including, where relevant, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

10. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal data, such as the right to access, correct, or delete it. Because your content is stored on your own device and not on our servers, you can exercise these rights directly:

Access and edit your data at any time within the App.
Delete individual items or clear all local data from settings.
Manage ad personalization and tracking through your device settings, as described in Section 2.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the App evolves or as required by law. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
